What is Juvederm® Made Of?
Every dermal filler in the Juvederm® collection contains hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring compound in the body. How Long Does Juvederm® Last?
While the Juvederm® family of fillers is long-lasting with excellent results, they are not permanent. Depending on the formula, on average Juvederm® injections can six months to two years. Thinner formulas such as Juvederm® Volbella last six months to a year, while thicker ones such as Juvederm® Voluma last eighteen months to two years.
Is There Any Downtime with Dermal Fillers?
There is no downtime with any of the Juvederm® collection of fillers, but you should expect some redness, minor swelling, or bruising at the injection site. These side effects usually lessen within two to three days of treatment.
