Our Injection Technique
XEOMIN treatments at RenewMD Medical Spa usually take under 30 minutes and can be completed in our procedure room at the conclusion of your consultation. The parts of the face receiving treatment will be cleaned and sterilized before XEOMIN is carefully injected with a dermal needle. The treatment is fast, and most patients experience mild or no discomfort, so local anesthesia is not necessary but can be requested during your consultation. Cold compresses and pressure will be applied to the injection area to reduce minor bleeding prior to you leaving.

You will be able to leave our office immediately after your XEOMIN injections to return to your daily activities; however, exercise and other strenuous activities should be avoided until the following day. You may want to sleep with your head elevated and use cold compresses periodically to expedite recovery and results. For a few days after a XEOMINtreatment, you may experience some swelling, bruising, and redness near the injection sites, but this should heal on its own and can be easily covered up with makeup. Many patients will see visible improvements 3 – 4 days following their XEOMIN injection lasting approximately three months.
