Each chemical peel done at Renew MD includes a post-treatment Red LED Light therapy to reduce redness and swelling; it also stimulates the production of collagen.

Blue LED Light Therapy is designed to target bacteria that cause acne, while Red LED Light Therapy is designed to help the skin generate new collagen and improve wrinkles. Renew MD’s program includes six Blue or Red LED light treatments, up to 6 salicylic treatments, one chemical peel (or a microdermabrasion), facial cleansing, and the application of skin topical treatments consistent with skin conditions. Additional LED treatments may be required or periodic maintenance may be needed to maintain results.
IPL Laser Treatments

Levulan
Levulan deactivates bacteria, exfoliates the skin to unclog pores, and penetrates into overactive sebaceous glands to clear up acne for up to 18 months, or, in many cases, longer. After each Levulan treatment, patients must avoid the sun and bright lights, and there may be some redness and swelling for up to one week.
